Ingredients

  • 1 slice gluten-free bread
  • 2 tablespoon shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoon butter softened

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill pan over medium heat.
  • Lay out one slice of bread on a flat surface. Spread a layer of butter over the bread, making sure to cover the entire slice.
  • Sprinkle a tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese over the buttered bread.
  • Place the second slice of bread on top of the cheese-covered slice.
  • Gently press down on the top slice of bread to help the cheese stick to it.
  • Spread a layer of butter over the top slice of bread.
  • Using a rolling pin, gently roll over the bread to flatten it out and seal the cheese inside.
  • Carefully transfer the rolled up bread to the preheated grill pan. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the grill pan and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can use as many slices of bread as you need. Just double the cheese and butter amounts.
