Ingredients

  • 5 tangerines peeled and frozen

Instructions

  • Peel the tangerines and remove any seeds.
  • Place the peeled tangerines in a freezer-safe container and freeze overnight or until completely frozen.
  • Remove the frozen tangerines from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly.
  • Place the frozen tangerines in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Note that at first, the mixture will be crumbly, but keep blending until it becomes smooth.
  • Scoop the sorbet into bowls or glasses and serve immediately, garnished with your choice of toppings.

Notes

Can I use a blender instead of a food processor? A: Yes, you can use a blender to make tangerine sorbet, but you may need to add a little bit of liquid (such as water or orange juice) to help the blades move.
