Ingredients

  • 30 fresh strawberries
  • 10 wooden skewers
  • 7 ounces dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Rinse the strawberries gently under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Make sure they're completely dry before dipping them in chocolate.
  • Melt your chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, using the microwave or a double boiler. Remember to stir it occasionally to ensure a smooth, silky texture.
  • Skewer each strawberry, piercing the skewer through the green leaves and out the other end. Be careful not to poke all the way through!
  • Dip the strawberries into the melted chocolate, holding the skewer and turning the strawberry to coat it evenly.
  • Allow any excess chocolate to drip off, then place the dipped strawberry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate the skewers for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened.
