Simple Gluten Free PB and Jelly Sandwich

Gluten-free heart-shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are so easy to make! You don't even need an uncrustables tool. You need two pieces of sandwich bread, peanut butter, jelly, and a heart-shaped cookie cutter.

Equipment

  • A heart-shaped cookie cutter
  • A knife

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices Gluten-free bread or any regular slice of bread
  • ½ cup Peanut butter
  • ¼ cup Strawberry jelly

Instructions
 

  • Spread peanut butter and jelly on one slice of bread.
  • Top that piece of bread with another slice of bread.
  • Press the heart cookie cutter in the middle of the sandwich until the cookie cutter presses all the way down.
  • Carefully remove the outer crust and place the heart sandwich on a plate.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to three days. You can also store the sandwiches by wrapping them in plastic wrap.

Notes

The best part about this recipe is that you can customize it any way you want. For example, you could add some chopped apples or raisins to give it a little crunch. I like to add slices of banana or fresh strawberries to add a little something special!
