My Favorite Betty Crocker Frosting

I know this isn't technically a recipe, but sometimes it's nice to take some shortcuts when baking. Betty Crocker's homestyle frosting is the best-boxed frosting I've ever had. It tastes homemade and looks BEAUTIFUL on cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.

Equipment

  • An electric mixer with a whisk attachment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package of Betty Crocker's Homestyle Frosting
  • ½ cup boiling water

Instructions
 

  • Fit an electric mixer with a whisk attachment.
  • Pour the package of powdered frosting into the mixing bowl and add in the boiling water.
  • Mix on high speed for 10 minutes or until the frosting forms STIFF peaks.

Notes

The frosting will first form soft peaks and you might think it's done. Keep beating at high speed until the frosting is stiff.
