Marshmallow Chocolate Mug Cake (gluten-free)

It's a gooey, chocolaty cake filled with a marshmallow center. Think of a lava cake, but with marshmallows instead of chocolate! This mug cake is easily made to be gluten-free, and is the best dessert for one!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoon gluten-free flour
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon marshmallow fluff
  • 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions
 

  • Combine egg yolk, sugar, and melted butter in the mug. Stir to combine.
  • Add cocoa powder, gluten-free flour, salt, and baking powder. Pour in milk.
  • After all the ingredients are combined, add chocolate chips and stir. Press the tablespoon of marshmallow fluff into the center of the cake.
  • Top with 1 tablespoon water and microwave on high for two minutes.

Notes

make sure to top with water to keep the cake moist.
