1 ¼ cup almond flour ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder ¾ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder ½ cup granulated sugar 3.5 ounces dark chocolate ¼ cup vegan butter 3 flax eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Chocolate chips optional
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flax eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract to form a lump-free batter.
In a separate glass bowl, melt the dark chocolate and vegan butter together to form a smooth chocolate mixture.
In a larger bowl, mix together the almond flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt to form the dry ingredients.
Add the chocolate mixture to the wet mixture and mix well.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until well combined.
Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined 8X8 baking dish and smooth the batter with a spatula.

Place the baking dish on the center rack of the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
Check the brownies with a toothpick; if it comes out clean, they're done.
Let the brownies cool in the baking dish for 10 minutes.
Remove the brownies from the baking dish and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
