Equipment

Ingredients

Bowls:

  • 2 large sweet potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ head iceberg lettuce shredded
  • 2 large tomatoes diced
  • ½ cup pickles diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Special Burger Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayo
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Roast the Sweet Potatoes: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the sweet potato chunks on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and roast for 25-30 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  • Cook the Ground Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside.
  • Prepare the Special Burger Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the mayo, ketchup, mustard, and vinegar. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Assemble the Bowls: In each bowl, add a generous layer of roasted sweet potatoes. Top with ground beef, shredded iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced pickles, and shredded cheddar cheese. Drizzle with the special burger sauce.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Mix everything together and enjoy a deconstructed Big Mac experience!

Notes

Tips: Toss the sweet potatoes halfway through roasting for even cooking. Prep the sauce ahead of time to make assembly faster.
