  • 1 pound 450g potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 pound 450g cauliflower florets
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
  • ½ cup warm milk adjust as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste (optional)
  • Chopped fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Boil Potatoes and Cauliflower: Peel and chunk potatoes. Cut cauliflower into similar sizes. Boil both in salted water for 15-20 minutes until tender.
  • Mash: Drain potatoes and cauliflower, and mash until smooth.
  • Mix: Add melted butter and warm milk. Stir until creamy.
  • Season: Add salt and optional pepper to taste.
  • Serve: Garnish with chives or parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Variations: Add roasted garlic or grated Parmesan for extra flavor.
