I like to grind my freeze-dried strawberries into a powder before mixing into the condensed milk mixture. This gives the patty a beautiful pink color!

    Quick tips

Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat! Also, they taste deliciously frozen.

    Recipe Notes

If you aren't a fan of strawberries, you can substitute freeze-dried strawberries for another freeze-dried fruit option. Try pomegranate, orange, or even raspberry.

You may have excess chocolate, and that's ok. It's important to have enough to cover each patty.

    How to Store

Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat! Also, they taste deliciously frozen. They are good in the fridge for 3 days and in the freezer for up to two weeks.

    FAQ

Should I refrigerate these strawberry patties?

Yes, they should be stored in the refrigerator. They will keep for several days if you don’t eat them all at once.

    How do I add decorations?

I sprinkled some freeze-dried strawberries on top. You can also add sprinkles, coconut flakes, or even nuts and seeds.

I don't like semi-sweet chocolate can I use something else?

The best thing about this recipe is that it's customizable to your preferences. If you're not a fan of semi-sweet chocolate, you can swap it out for another type of chocolate (milk, dark, etc.).

    Can I Use Fresh Strawberries?

No, I don't recommend using fresh strawberries. There is too much moisture in fresh strawberries. It would make the dough goopy.

    What are Freeze Dried Strawberries?

Freeze-dried strawberries are simply dehydrated strawberries that are then frozen again. They’re usually sold in small packets.

How many patties does this recipe make?

This recipe makes 24 strawberry patties.

Can I put coconut oil in the melted chocolate?

Yes, you can put up to two tablespoons of oil in the melted chocolate mixture.

How do I melt the chocolate?

You can either melt the chocolate in the microwave (keep a close eye on it) or in a double boiler over medium heat. When using the microwave, you need to melt chocolate slowly and stir frequently.

What do I serve these treats with?

You can eat them on their own or with ice cream or on top of a cupcake or layer cake.
