    REVIEW: Smeg Citrus Juicer

    Jun 21, 2022 · Leave a Comment

    Sharing is caring!

I drink freshly squeezed orange juice every single morning. Studies show that drinking freshly squeezed orange juice improves heart health, decreases inflammation, and reduces the risk of kidney stones. Plus, oranges are full of vitamin C, folate, and potassium.

Sure, it's a lot of work to make freshly squeezed orange juice every single day, but an electric juicer does a lot of the work for me. I have the SMEG citrus juicer in pink, and I have some thoughts on its effectiveness.

    How I Clean the Juicer

The juicing parts are all detachable and dishwasher-safe. I can confirm I put the two top pieces (the streamer and stainless steel reamer) in the dishwasher and it's totally fine. My favorite part about the juicer is the cover that goes over the top of the juicer. This keeps the juicer free of dust while not in use, but it also makes it look super cool.

    How I Used the Juicer

I use this juicer daily to make freshly squeezed orange juice for myself. A few weeks ago, I got the flu and was so sick. I've been drinking two oranges daily as an extra precaution to boost my immune system ever since.

Another thing to note is that the plug and cord roll up underneath the juicer to keep everything tidy.

    Who Would Like This Juicer?

This juicer is made for people who want their juicer to look like a piece of art. It's just as much a kitchen decoration as it is a citrus juicer. For me, this juicer is great because I don't have a lot of storage and need to leave my juicer out on my counter. It makes me happy just looking at it!

    Is it dishwasher safe?

The streamer and stainless steel reamer are both dishwasher safe. The appliance itself is NOT dishwasher safe.

    The Verdict

This juicer is a great option for anybody who can't store their juicer in a cabinet. It's also perfect for a daily glass of orange juice or the occasional lemonade. I would not recommend this juicer to those who are juicing for a crowd. It will take too long, and your hands will get tired of holding the citrus in place.
