Why Make Homemade Chocolate-Covered Macadamia Nuts Recipe
Making this homemade chocolate covered macadamia nut recipe is easy, fun, and takes no time at all! The best part about making them yourself is that they taste better than any store-bought ones. They also look much nicer too. And since they’re made from scratch, you know exactly what goes into each batch. The chocolate coatings don't contain sugar alcohols or dairy, either. This treat is a great alternative to candy and cookies!
Key Ingredients
- Dark chocolate: I use dark vegan chocolate, but you can use white chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, creamy milk chocolate, or keto chocolate chips.
- Macadamia nuts: use roasted, unsalted macadamia nuts or plain, raw macadamia nuts. You may also substitute the macadamia nuts with hazelnuts, almonds, or peanuts. You can use salted macadamia nuts if you like a sweet and salty mix.
- Orange zest: completely optional, but the orange zest adds a nice flavor to these delicious chocolates. I love adding orange to chocolate recipes!
