The Gluten-Free Flour

Gluten-Free Flour Tips
For this recipe, any gluten-free flour will work. Sometimes, with bread or yeast recipes, you need to be really careful about which blend of gluten-free flour you use. In this recipe, any flour will work.
Dairy-Free Graham Crackers
This recipe can be made dairy-free. Substitute coconut oil for butter, oat milk, or almond milk for regular milk, and a flax egg for the egg.
You can also use vegan butter instead of coconut oil.
Recipe Notes
Crackers should be stored in an air-tight container at room temperature for up to a week or frozen for months.

Yes! These homemade GF crackers are perfect for baking a crust. This graham cracker recipe is perfect for that.
Are Graham Crackers Gluten-Free?
Graham crackers that you buy at the store are not gluten-free. You can buy gluten-free graham crackers, but I don't think they're very delicious. This recipe is an easy gluten-free alternative.
What is a flax egg?
A flax egg is made from flax seeds. If you mix flax seeds with water, it creates a gummy texture that can replace eggs. Bob's Red Mill also makes a vegan egg substitute.
What other desserts can I make using these graham crackers?
You can make pie crusts, smores, smores bars, an easy snack, and even cookies! You can also dip these graham crackers in chocolate and sprinkle them with chocolate chips.
Can I use almond flour instead of gluten-free flour?
Yes!
Can I add other spices?
Of course. You can make this recipe your own!
I don't have cardamom. Can I leave it out?
Yes, you can leave out the cardamom. I love using cardamom in a lot of my baked goods recipes, but it is optional in this recipe.
What do gluten-free flour blends usually contain?
They usually contain tapioca starch, brown rice powder, and xanthan gum, among other things.
Why brown sugar instead of granulated sugar?
